Use of AED and Advanced Airway Management
- Confidently use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), including appropriate placement of pads and following device prompts for effective defibrillation.
- Demonstrate advanced airway management techniques, including the use of oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airways, to ensure optimal oxygenation in unconscious patients.

- Take appropriate immediate actions such as activating emergency services, ensuring scene safety, and initiating CPR or first aid as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all involved while providing effective care.
Post-Emergency Recovery and Care
- Recognize and manage the recovery process following an emergency, ensuring the casualty is stable and monitored appropriately.
- Provide post-resuscitation care, including monitoring vital signs, preventing secondary complications, and offering psychological support to the casualty and bystanders.
